Volatile Baby is a female trio based in Charlotte, NC. One of its members, Gina Stewart, played Carlene's grandmother, Maybelle Carter, in the "Wildwood Flowers" stage production, which included this Carter Family standard, "50 Miles Of Elbow Room." Carlene sings the complete second verse by herself on this great track, which was also later included on Volatile Baby's next release, "Backroads," a collection of early country music classics.
